25 Provisions For Other Liabilities And Charges
The Company maintains a self-insured program covering portions of Group life and consequential loss insurance. The amounts in
excess of the self-insured levels are fully insured; subject to certain limitations and exclusions. The Company accrues its estimated
liability for these self-insured programs, including estimates for insured but not reported claims, based on known claims and past
claims history. The remaining balance for provisions for other liabilities and charges stem from accruals for outstanding tax claims or
assessments.
